My frying dinner was light today in the top 3 I have ever eaten (from a pub or restaurant) perhaps even the best it is probably 8 years since I had a more cotender, making comparison difficult. Exceptional food and service from Jo and her team. One of the best Sunday roasts I’ve ever had. Great quality, excellent portions and superb value for money. Thank you for looking after Eileen so well and Crumble says thank you for the Ham. Will be back soon.

A warm welcome awaited our arrival. They stock Guinness 0.0 which is very sensible at this time of year. We all had starters most opted for pate. It was a good serving with toast.Not too big to spoil one's appetite but very satisfying and tasty. Then the main event was Christmas lunch. Often people express delight nowadays by saying wow! In my case, the Turkey, stuffing, roast potatoes, gravy, sausage, red cabbage ALL got WOW! The meal was superb, made even better by friendly service and attention to detail. I can highly recommend this venue and the service staff were very upbeat THANKS.

Very nice food but a little pricey. Devilled kidneys nicely cooked and pork belly was also very good. nice pub with a big fireplace and good beer.
