Strega Prime - Woburn

I don't usually give five-star reviews, but I was genuinely impressed with my dinner there a couple of weekends ago. In the past few years, I've had my fair share of disappointing dining experiences, which I've mostly attributed to the pandemic and various staffing and budget issues. As a result, I tend to dine out only once or twice a month. However, my friends and I decided to stop by this restaurant on a whim since we were nearby, and it turned out to be excellent. We were celebrating a birthday, and when the waitress asked if we were celebrating anything special, we casually mentioned it. The food was outstanding; we started with the burrata appetizer and each selected different pasta dishes. I chose the bolognese, which was absolutely fantastic, and everyone was happy with their meals. We were contemplating dessert, and just as we were thinking about it, the waitress surprised us by bringing out a complimentary piece of tiramisu for the birthday celebration at precisely the right moment. I will definitely return if I'm ever in the area again!

Strega has received a lot of hype, but my experience was just average. The service was friendly and accommodating, but the food and drinks didn’t quite stand out. I attended a dinner party with a set menu and chose the filet mignon. The steak was decent—not the best I’ve had, but also not particularly memorable. The sides were radicchio and mushrooms, which I found to be a bit too bitter for my taste. Even though I finished everything since I enjoy steak and sides, it wasn't a meal I’d be eager to repeat. The drinks were decent as well, but nothing remarkable. Overall, I’m not inclined to return.

If you're in the mood to indulge in excellent Italian cuisine in an elegant setting, this is the place to go. I really appreciate the dim lighting and beautiful decor, which create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. This visit marks the third time for my wife and me, and we've consistently received exceptional service. We've always been pleased with the drinks and appetizers. This time, we shared the salmon specialty, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, and a Classic Caesar Salad with anchovies—all of it was delicious. For drinks, my wife enjoyed a Grey Goose Cosmo while I opted for a Knob Creek Manhattan, both of which were delightful. You'll definitely want to prepare to spend a bit, but it's well worth it. I highly recommend giving it a try and savoring the experience!

We were celebrating a wedding anniversary and decided to try Strega Italiano. The restaurant had a very romantic vibe. It was perfect for us. Our waitress was excellent! We both got the cioppino. All of the seafood was cooked perfectly. It was one of the best plates of food I have ever eaten. We can't wait to come back and try some other dishes. Thank you for a great meal!

Please give this restaurant back to nicky verano. Where should I start: many of our favorite food items are gone! Wedge salad, mixed greens, creamed corn the MUSIC is super loud and intense, like hold music my wife's steak was dry and my chicken saltimbocca was unimpressive We probablywont be back unfortunately
