The Bengal Lancer - Withernsea

I stopped by in the mid-morning on a whim because I was intrigued by the unique concept of a coffee shop with an Indian twist. The coffee was outstanding, and the food—specifically the chapli plate and shami plate—was delightful and a refreshing change from the typical seaside fare of fish and chips. The service was very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, I was just passing through, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again. Meal type: Brunch.

The Madras was like chip shop curry, Masala gritty and more like a korma, chicken was chewy, the only things that were nice were the chips and Naan bread, onion barhjis had absolutely no flavour, and they forgot our mango chutney, very disappointing, would not return.
