Lin's Takeaway - WIRRAL

Although we typically don't prefer Chinese cuisine, we decided to give it a try for a change. We were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We are now fans and will definitely be back soon.

I'm not certain if it's due to the pandemic or staffing problems, but the food quality at this restaurant has noticeably declined. While the portion sizes remain generous, I prioritize quality over quantity.

I do not , as a rule, post reviews. However, I cannot justify doing nothing about the home delivery we have just received. I have for a while now thought that their standards were slipping, but this last OFFERING was the straw that broke the camels back!!!! As usual, warmed up chips almost cold), bland warned up fried rice, again almost cold, barbecued ribs that were also overdone, dry again almost cold!!!!!! No more! Enough is enough!!!! Jade Garden down the road is so, so superior!!!! Larger portions, fresher food a welcoming smile, as opposed to the stern, miserable welcome I use the term welcome very lightly) that you get when venturing in to this take away!!!! Only reason we used this take away was because Jade Garden is closed on Tuesdays!! Please, do yourself a favour use Jade Garden. Beautiful!!!!!

The food is delicious and full of flavor. The restaurant's interior may be a bit shabby, but don't let that deter you. They offer a wide variety of menu options.

Do not order from here!!! We have ordered from here a couple of times and been unimpressed. To be fair duck is usually good but the chow mein is terrible. Sent it back once and the one they sent out in replacement was just as bad. We have just ordered again (limited options for Chinese! and they missed items off our order. When I queried it I got told there was no-one they could check with and there was nothing they could do! Paid for food I didn’t receive! My advice don’t bother!!!
