Bidrage med feedbackI went to the beer festival today. This is my fifth year attending. Make sure to arrive early to secure a table. They offer a wide variety of real ales, German beers, Belgian beers, and ciders. In addition, they have pies, pasties, cakes, and a selection of hot foods including curries and kebabs. Bring your friends along for a great day out.
The restaurant building was quite impressive, although we only stayed in the main dining area. We visited in the afternoon for a gathering or meeting. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the heating, and organizing hot drinks for over 150 people could have been handled better as everyone needed to be served quickly.
Very good there was a Christmas craft fair to day I had a stall.
We've just recently had our wedding at Hulme Hall and it was better than we ever could have imagined. Initially when we booked the venue we were dealing with old management and didn't have much in the way of contact. However, once the changeover happened the difference in service was night and day. We had an initial meeting with the team and they made sure to cover every single part of the day. No request was too big. Everything they did was to make us and the guests happy. Even on the day, the team would come over to check that we were happy and that everything was going the way we wanted it to. They really carried away any stress of the day. And the food! Kush the chef at Hulme Hall did an absolutely wonderful job. He made sure we got exactly what we wanted and made sure we had some crowd pleasers too. The meal was presented beautifully and the service was perfect. We even requested to have an Indian takeaway style buffet for the evening, my husband Josh was especially excited for the onion bhajis and he was not disappointed! The staff at Hulme Hall made our wedding a wonderful day and we would highly recommend anyone thinking of getting married there to go for it! (Josh's brother had a 30th birthday booked for his girlfriend at the Bridge Inn after our wedding and changed venue last minute to Hulme Hall because of the level of service we received on our day.
This restaurant has great potential, but its outdated appearance and cold temperature were disappointing. The food was good and the drink prices were reasonable. However, the staff should not be clattering cutlery during speeches, and the owner was wearing an outdoor coat instead of engaging with customers. I suggest updating the restaurant in a way that respects the historic nature of the building, which would create a fabulous venue.
