Carnitas La Caldera - Winterwarm

This isn't a place to sit and eat. You take the food to go so that's why no rating on atmosphere. It's a parking lot. Delicious carnitas and friendly people!

We finally got up on Sunday morning to try the bbq place. I drive by it everyday but it’s only open on Sunday at 8:00 AM and Friday nights.The carnitas are the best I’ve ever had, flavorful cooked perfect, not greasy but juicy, good balance of crisp and moist meat, we bought a plate overflowing with carnitas, the plate comes with yummy rice and, beans, and fragrant hot corn tortillas, and one pound of carnitas for lunches for work.Coke comes in the glass bottles it tasted great, they have tables and chairs with sun coverings,A great place to stop and buy 4-5 pounds of carnitas if you are entertaining or having family over it’s a great dinner. I’m sure it would freeze nicely as well.I hope they can add carne asada to their menu and churros.

Very friendly service and excellent food. Ordered a burrito to go, and ate chips and salsa while we waited.

Picked me up some Menudo chicharones carnitas????NEVER disappointed ??

Doesn't get any more homemade than this. Great food
