Ida-beiz - Winterthur

I went for Dinner at Ida Beiz and hadn 't any idea what to expect. It was a nice surprise being greeted by very friendy young staff and the owner Volker. It is not a Restaurant as you might be used to Ida Beiz is more like a huge family dining hall . Long tables with enough seats, as well as small tables for up to 4 or 6 people. No problem having a chat with the other guests you are sharing a table with. The menu card shows ranges of different dishes and when we had Dinner there was a special offer of a tradionional dish called Martins (from St. Martin) Goose , which is roasted goose with fresh potato dumplings and red cabbage. My friend had rabbit italian way with Polenta, I had baked Chili con carne with sour cream and Nachos Yummie!! Both dishes were served quick very good, If you are going by care there 's no chance for parking on the street. You have to drive to Ida Sträuli Strasse No. 65 where 's an underground parking for visitors. The garage door opens automatically when you are driving slowy towards it. A bus stop is close by, so you don 't have to drive at all. All in all Ida Beiz is good place to eat!

Neighborhood restaurant with special atmosphere and very good food. I near this restaurant and we love to go. Unfortunately there is only takeout available now. But also that is excellent. The restaurant is very spacious and distancing is not an issue. You can sit outside in a quiet environment in summer. The team is very friendly and prices are what you can expect in a Quartierbeiz . There is a large variety of drinks and beer on tap available for those who aren 't hungry.

Sehr gute und preiswerte Mittagsmenüs!Ein Besuch lohnt sich , die Bedienung ist zuvorkommend, der Service schnell, das Essen fein. Es gibt immer ein Fleisch- und ein Vegi-Menü sowie eine Wochenspezialität am Mittag.

Super leckerer Brunch mit reichhaltigem Buffet und Getränke à discretion Versch. Kaffees, Fruchtsäfte, Tee, Prosecco ... Und das Buffet von Frucht, über Müesli, Joghurt, Pancake, verschiedene Eier, geräucherter Fisch, Wurst, Speck etc und verschiedene Brotsorten, Brötli, Gipfeli... Alles inkl. für Fr. 34.50 Kinder pro Altersjahr Fr. 1.

Ich hatte sehr gute vegetarische Ravioli garniert mit angebraten Rucola. Es wahr recht ruhig und eine Reservation wäre nicht nötig gewesen.
