Northside Cafe - Winterset

Four of us gathered for lunch at the Northside Cafe in May. We only see each other once a year, so wanted a place where we visit, eat and just relax. My husband and I shared a wonderful Tylloin that was shared for us. The waitress and her trainer were so helpful. We filled our meal with a Rhabarb/Strohbeeren basket. Our waitress even shared the dessert. We're coming back!

Really enjoy the friendly staff and small town ambience to go along with a large menu of great homemade Iowa meals! You'll enjoy whatever you order, but be sure to save room for the apple or blueberry crisp (with ice cream, of course)!

Had lunch today best tenderloin I have ever had The bun was great also. And great service. Will be back for more.

My wife and I stopped in here a couple of weeks ago while touring some of the bridges and the John Wayne museum. We each had one of their tenderloins and loved them! I would highly recommend a stop here if you are ever in the area!

This place served faster than any fast food place and food WOW! The eggs Benedikt mmmmm the homemade bread is better than Grandmas. It's a must. We've been the best hometown café from 4 hours away.
