Berggasthof Kahler Asten - Winterberg

This restaurant is located on the top “mountain” m high. next to the restaurant/hotel there is a very large parking lot. we had a nice warm cup tee with a delicious piece of cake (afelstrudel). that do not serve outside on the terrace (self-service) that was...not a problem. the opposite is excellent, many hiking trails from restaurant, beautiful nature.

Nice eating, not expensive. only negative point is that it took quite a long time to get us our food (and suddenly the owner / responsibly gets a teller from the kitchen and begins to eat before each.

Large coffee and astenstrudel, a whirlpool with cream, eis after a beautiful walk from the north side. the place can be quiet busy, but eating is good and service great. excellent prospects especially from the higher stage.

We have a look at the view of the top of the bare. after the walk along many of the great way we went inside for a place of lunch. in the ground floor is a cafeteria, so self-service. we decided to go to the restaurant. fast personel came to order, we both had stramme max. the eating was good and the looking out on the south side of kahler asten is beautiful. it annoyed me that we had to pay to park, even if paid for all day, the restaurant will give them Euro refund. we didn't try dinner, but it looked good. but rather expensive.

This restaurant is located on Kahler Asten “mountain” 842 m altitude. There is quite big parking area beside the restaurant/hotel.We had a nice warm cup of tea with a delicious piece of cake (apfelstrudel). The don’t serve outside on the terrace(self service) which was not an issue.The area is superb, a lot of walking tracks departing from the restaurant, beautiful nature.
