Red-eye's Git-n-messy Bbq Smokehouse

Holy **** this place is amazing! we had a sampler platter with pulled pork, beef brisket and we subbed the ribs for jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage! we got mac and cheese and sidewinder fries for an up charge which was totally worth it, those fries are bomb! the service was awesome and informative! we don 't even live close but will definitely be back for seconds !

This Q is delicious. Great smoke flavor. Ribs come out looking like they have a competition glaze. Sides are very good. Okra was perfect! My personal feeling is there’s too much vinegar in the sauce but that’s the great thing about Q, everyone has their own recipe and preferences and it’s fun to try a new place. The brisket and pork is crazy good though. Almost forgot, a TON of TV’s to watch sports and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Tito’s mules were also on point.

Great quality and great portions. We had the sampler and was very impressed with everything. Greens beans and Mac n cheese for sides. Also orders Cajun okra with Cajun ranch which was delicious.

That may change after our next visit, because believe me... we WILL be back!My bf and I were in search of a new local sports bar to watch the football games yesterday (Go Steelers! ; and once again based off of Yelp reviews he came across this cute spot. (I say that with great respect The interior atmosphere was perfect, ALL the games were on so I 'd say they have the NFL package and oddly enough it wasn 't super loud.Now to the good stuff, I mean great stuff... the FOOD!We both LOVE good BBQ... authentic BBQ, not that chain restaurant stuff. We started with the Moonshine Smoked Wings... holy moly, get them! After a few delicious libations my bf ordered the GNM Dog with a side of baked beans (kinda cold and nothing special and I ordered The Ultimate Smokehouse Sandwich (with a side of Mac n cheese it was alright, white cheeses compared to yellow both are BANGERS for sure!!! I think I 'm still full!The reason I 'm not giving 5 stars at this time might be petty but first, we shouldn 't have to ask for napkins at a BBQ joint... and more than once. Second, they offer you if you 'd rather have a small side of either their sweet or spicy bbq sauce, in my opinion you should receive both with any dish. Third, when I asked the server any questions regarding food options... her answer was It 's a popular item with no specific details.My team won, we enjoyed some amazing local bbq, had a few delicious drinks, so yes... we will be back! It was a great Sunday... Next on our list is the full rack of St. Louis style RIBS!!!Thanks for reading, now go get yourself some delicious bbq!!!
