Great food. Great service. Neighborhood gem. One of the best in greater Orlando

Have been here several times and the food has been fantastic, maybe some of the best Italian food to be had in Central Florida. Last visit, not as fantastic. Very good but not up to the level of previous visits. An explanation may have been that Rocco was not there. WHen the cat's away, the mice will play. Rocco comes around to each table and asks how the meal is. When the owner isnt there, the help lets things slide a little. When you make your reservation ask if Rocco will be there that evening

So disappointed!! Made reservation for our 2 nd wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday. We arrived 27 mins prior to our reservation, told the host we were going to have a drink in the lounge. He pointed out our table to us and told us to just let him know when we were ready. Within 10 mins we observed him sitting someone else at that very table. When we went to the desk at 7:30 to be seated he put us in a back room Service was awlful!!!! We even watched the table beside us get up to get their own cheese, then get up to ask for to go boxes, then get up to ask for their check. No one ever came one time to ask how the food was. Our waitress never asked how my husband wanted his veal chop prepared and when I asked for another glass of wine when my food was delivered. It never came until we were completely done eating. Wait staff never acknowledged our anniversary or his birthday. She never even asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. VERY disappointed and what is worse. We drove one hour each way to dine at this restaurant. To add.. the young man that delivered our appetizer did not give us any plates, when we left no one at the front desk even asked how our evening was.

This was my first time to Rocco’s. The host, bartender and our server were all great. There was a party wrapping up and it was very noisy in the bar area. The host asked us where we would like to sit and I said away from the bar so my date and I could talk. He sat us in the back room where there were only two other couples. Some people may not like that but we welcomed the quieter area, especially when some older woman in the bar thought she was an opera singer. The Fritto Misto as an appetizer was very good. My date’s veal fish was also well executed. I opted for the veal chop special and was a little disappointed with it. It was pretty fatty and a little tough to cut. Could have used a sharper knife. The vegetables were very good. Would have rated this five stars if the veal chop was better.
