Hungry Crab Juicy Seafood Winter Haven Fl

This is my favorite seafood restaurant actually my favorite place to get, clean ,fast and good service.

The food was delicious! Really enjoyed the shrimp. the snow crab was so soft and perfectly seasoned. Breadsticks were delicious. I love the added potatoes, corn, and eggs. The service was great! She was friendly, kind, and helpful.

The Hungry Crab has steam pot seafood and offers popular combinations which include potato’s and corn. We can it corn and one bag did have enough crab for two to share. Instead I chose to order Al A Carte. I chose 1/2 lb boiled shrimp and 2 bags of crab legs 1/2 lb each. I also ordered 3 small boiled potatoes.What I received might’ve been 1/2 lb of shrimp if you include the weight of the potatoes. Same with the crab. Both 1/2 lb crab bags contain a couple of potatoes.Clearly I did not understand the single bags contained potatoes otherwise I would not have bought potatoes.Besides weight practices being unfair to the public so are the prices. My bill was nearly $100. I hardly think it was a fair price for 1/2 lb of shrimp and a lb of crab legs.To add insult to injury. The restaurant substituted shrimp cocktail sauce with marinara.To be fair the food was good but I won’t buy from them again.

The verdict is that the seasoning at the one in Davenport is slightly better because this one was a little a bit more watery so the seasoning did not stick to the seafood even though I got the same flavor which was the Hungry Crab Seasoning in medium. However, the muscles were bigger and the snow crabs meatier. Plus the watermelon cosmopolitan was legit.

It was very noisy because we had a birthday party around us as well as a baby at the table next to us. It was difficult to hear my 2 friends when they spoke, but we still had a nice time. The waitress was attentive and courteous, and the food was amazing! I look forward to returning to this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: It's definitely kid-friendly since there were many families there.Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces and it is free. There is no valet.
