Duke's Brewhouse - Winter Haven

Previously they were a great place to eat, but it has gone down the hill in the food area. the server they used to dress well in western style. cowboy boots, button up shirts and cutoff short jeans . not the girls look like cheap street hikers. it's like they're trying to cut them off like a string. not to manage quality, it has just become a hanging up for youngs. no family sports. for quality has gone down. prices have risen. don't go back. we're going to the week, but not anymore.

I was here several times, usually a good one, but what I saw today at 8 o'clock in there when the management apparently wasn't around, I won't let go. there was a customer with a full-grown pit bulle in the bar window area that was allowed to have their dog at the window eating out of the teller with its pfoten and dog face on the food bar. this was done by all servers on the floor and several customers, and here are the pictures. when the time passed, the dog was allowed to have all four pfotens up on the bar. that is completely unacceptable in a food business. totally inappropriate. pretty sure this is a basic HACCP violation. the dog contaminated serviettes and surfaces and the workers touch them. crosscontamination handwashing problems, many adhesion brew here. enforce the district and health codes and get them a policy to have no animals in the restaurant. that is something that is usually reserved for the animal-nut-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self-self I don't even eat in restaurants where they allow the dogs to sit on the dining areas. not cool at any place, anywhere, at any time. note that many other beautiful places in winter have not to eat without this disgusting behavior.

I ate the other night with my friend here. the service started great. the waitress had mentioned that she was new, which was good. we have received our food in a decent amount of time. the fried fish was good, the fried were good, but our hush puppies were in the middle ig, the waitress got us new, and they even added an extra hush puppy for waiting. the food was great. sad halfway in our service, we noticed the bar that leads to the outside that there was a pitbull on the meter literally eating from this young plate, two paws on the bar, most waiter went over and shaken and loved on the dog, no wash their hands and then bring food and other drinks to customers. if we have as much attention as this guy and his dog, maybe we didn't have to wait 20 minutes to get a spoon to eat our ice cream. Note that we never got this spoon after we asked the waitress 3 separate times. we decided to take the ice. just to add a cherry top as we go to pay, my friend literally had to mathematically for her to find out his military rabatt on the entrance because they overload him for eating. that was my first experience here. my friends were here several times, unfortunately perhaps the last, not only did he have a phobe of dogs, but saw that he just sent him. seriously dogs eating teller at the bars? I thought dogs were allowed, but just on the floor? I have been working in food service management for a good 8 years and I am positiw that the health and safety regulations break. the pfoten stood on the counter.

The girls who work there are fantastic, but 30 dollars for a pitcher of ipa, forget it.

Just picked up some take out. We ordered 20 wings, and two fish n chips. The fish was extremely small. About 8 inches long and 3 inches wide, fries were very soggy. The wings were supposed to be half medium half honey garlic and they came completely plain. Waited 45 minutes for the food as well. Definitely dissatisfied with what we received for the price and wait time. The staff however was very friendly and the girl behind the bar was very welcoming. Not their fault of course for food timing and quality.
