Taquitos Jalisco - Winter Garden

As a native San Diegan, it has been difficult to find authentic Mexican that reminds me of home. This place is authentic and delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is high. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. This is my favorite place to eat in town and one of the only places I go to eat Mexican food. Very family friendly, especially with infants in tow. Try it out!

My friend and I were visiting the conservatory to check out a house and decided to try a local Mexican restaurant. I was a bit apprehensive since I hadn't heard of this place before, and our previous experience with a local Mexican restaurant had been disappointing. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The salsa was somewhat basic, but it was still quite delicious. I ordered the nachos with steak, and when they arrived, I could hardly call them nachos due to the generous amount of cheese and toppings! They were truly the best nachos I've ever had! The steak portion was sizable and incredibly flavorful. If we decide to move here, this will definitely become one of our go-to spots to eat.

Parking is fantastic, and the service, decor, and ambiance are all excellent. But the food? Wow! The Mexican cuisine here is incredibly authentic, and the prices are unbeatable. I grew up in California surrounded by Mexican food, which set my expectations high, but this place truly delivers! I had a special lunch the other day where I enjoyed a massive burrito, prepared enchilada-style with rice and beans, for just over $7! You can’t find a deal like that at any fast food restaurant! Seriously, bring your friends and family here; everyone will leave satisfied.
