Providence Restaurant - Winston-Salem

Visited Providence for a private party Girls Night Out sponsored by Forsyth Woman magazine. The restaurant was not prepared for the crowd. We were not told to get our own drinks at the bar. Had to ask another diner. Waited at our table with no menu and no silverware for 45 minutes before our order was taken. Very warm in room we were in. After ordering food arrived shortly. Food here is always excellent and it was that night. I will definitely eat there again but not for a similar event. I do not fault the restaurant or staff. The event was poorly planned.

Poor management as evidenced by severe understaffing of the restaurant for a special night. It was literally like one server per 50 people. It took two hours to get food. There was no effort made by management to accommodate customers. We only got a concession on the food because we demanded it. Your business is only as good as your management and wait staff. Shame on you Providence

Thanksgiving was my first visit to this restaurant and won't be my last. Nicely done. Great food, well prepared and interesting. Good wait staff. Very pleasant and easy. Supports a charitable cause.

This restaurant made such a Impression on me the chef even came to our table to check on us several times .. the servers were attentive ... the food was absolutely outstanding can’t wait to go back
