Food was excellent with Dr. Chops! The prices were very reasonable. They are a good choice on the menu of seafood and pork chops, chicken and waffles and cube steak. They also have a number of sandwiches and wings. Desserts look delicious. Family owned and operated, Dr. Chops is efficient and offers excellent service!

Dr. Chops is where you want to eat for Home Cooked Style Foods. Foods are very tasteful. Staff has the upmost concern for the quality of food and is very economical. Restaurant is clean stocked with supplies. Bathroom is clean stocked with toiletries. Eating here feels like home you will enjoy the experience.

A great place for lunch if you are looking for a cheap yet high-quality soul food dish. You have a wide selection of options on the menu of seafood to chicken wings to chopped steak. The seating is limited as it is more of a takeout restaurant, but the food is great.

The soul food is some of the best around. I love the fresh collards, the ribs are to die for and the cornbread taste like my mothers. Great folk and great food.

I went to this restaurant with a friend and was absolutely surprised at how delicious the food was. We got our orders to go and the service was fast and the men who worked there were so courteou and efficient. I ordered chitterlings and boy was i ever delighted to taste some down home cooked chitterlings from a restaurant. I do not eat just anybodys chitterlings and was skeptical about doing so,but my friend girl who is a chitterlings expert and very funny about eating out convinced me to try them. Lets just say i was not disappointed with them. I was so pleased with the taste and quality of the food,also thecprice i paid was very,very reasonable. Dr. Chops has become my number one soul food restaurant to go to here in Winston. I went back that following week and ordered a flounder plate, once again i was not disappointed, the fish plate was excellent and the fish was cooked the way my momma would cook it. FIVE STARS AND A 100 SCORE ON THE FOOD AND CLEANILINESS OF DR.CHOPS. If you havent tried it folks you should definitely go try it. Best kept secret in Winston for soul food.
