If you are looking for a high end with garbage food like most Latin American restaurants in the USA, this is not the place for you. The servers will not put on a false smile and pretend they want you there. When you come here is for delicious, authentic food, that is it and you will only get that.
10 stars for food and authentic taste. 0 stars for location and parking. But was worth it... Delicious
They have dominican, salvadoran, and mexican foods. Its a random hole in the wall restaurant with classic dishes. Everything tasted delicious! The pastelitos were a little bland, but everything else was full of flavor. Chicharron is one of my fave dishes. My dominican fiance was also very happy. We are gonna go back to try their mofongo for breakfast one day. Also, it helps to speak spanish or be with someone who knows spanish.
This is a hidden gem at the end off Waughton St. it is at the end of a small strip of stores with limited parking. This hole in the wall has a diverse menu that has dishes from Mexico, Dominican Republic and El Salvador,3 very different countries. The Pupusas are hot with melting cheese right off the “Comal”. The yuca con Chicharrón is a boiled cassava with fried pork chunks with a vinegar based Cole slaw. There are all types of traditional dishes, none will disappoint. They do sell beer so you will see some day drinkers. It is a safe , colorful place, that is best visited during the day.
Very good food, tasty and they served a lot. But for me is not a restaurant, it looks to me like a cafeteria. Since you open the door the place, including the restrooms smells like a sewer. Not great server, no too friendly and their menu does not offer dessert. Parking is very small and difficult to get out from.
