Thai Express - Winnipeg

Yummmm!! Ordered the VEGAN pad Thai and wow!!! It was amazing!! So flavourful and filling! I was so impressed that they had 6 items on their menu that could be made vegan. I highly recommend coming here, the staff is polite and quick. The value and deliciousness are so worth it! I will for sure be back hopefully to try some other vegan menu items!

Super friendly, nice staff who always let me order Chili Chili Bangkok with no mini corn! working downtown, this is my regular go-to when i work late, need a treat, or just want tasty thai!

I've eaten at Thai Express in other countries, and it's consistently quite good Thai fast food. Tasty, large portions, decent prices, fresh ingredients, and not over spiced (I've traveled in Thailand). Excellent service at the Portage Place restaurant, as Skip the Dishes screwed up and didn't deliver my order (they even texted saying my order was 5 mins away), so TE cooked me a fresh meal and I ran over and picked it up myself. When I arrived, the incredibly calm, lovely employees/owners called STD and sorted it out for me. They were super accommodating, so kind and helpful I'd order from there again any time! Service you don't often get! Highly recommend.

Express is right word, food was decent considering it's a fast food joint. There was, however, a greasy after taste to the stir fry probably from a poorly cleaned wok (I hope). The other reason you may taste the grease may be due to cheap or reused/recycled oil but that's only speculation on my part. Use a coupon from their web site and the greasy after taste almost disappears. An average Asian restaurant

I've eaten at Thai Expresses in other food courts before. At the St. Vital location the other day, I ordered Chicken Pad Thai and the shredded chicken was full of hard stuff. Not the bone, but the cartilage y bits. I can understand the odd bit it happens. But this was almost every bite of chicken. It made it quite unpleasant.
