Mitzis Restaurant - Winnipeg

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants. The last couple of meals I ordered were not good. I don't know if it's because of pandemic and they are skipping corners but I tried the chicken finger meal and they tasted good as usual...but the fries were cold and greasy and the coleslaw was rotten. The second meal I tried was a chines combo and the shrimp and chicken balls coating was cold and rubbery (both pick-up not delivery). So sad that this has happened to what used to be one of my regulars. I won't be ordering here again.

Support local... this place is amazing and tasty. Totally worth going and the soup is also good. Chicken fingers r the best in the city. Also the home made cesaar dressing is amazing if you are a cesar salad lover like I am

Never disappointed with the chicken fingers and honey dill sauce. Hands down best in the city. Always come In to eat of order for pick up. Never disappointed.

Large portions and great tasting food. The sweet and sour chicken is fantastic. Highly recommended. Best cheap eats in Winnipeg

We went for dinner on a Saturday night, it was super quiet in the restaurant, so didn't have to wait long for service or food. Unfortunately when the food came we asked about the sweet and sour sauce for the amazing chicken fingers, and the...server advised there was an up charge because we had our food already. We said fine thinking it would be cents, on the bill we were charged for it, and when we commented on the charge she gave us total attitude about it (basically saying the price is on the menu) Our bill was just under felt it was an unnecessary charge, so it left a very bad taste in our mouths, will likely never go back.
