Jolly Frier Restaurant - Winnipeg

I have been to this restaurant many times and recently went back for breakfast. The service is consistently excellent and the food is always good. The restaurant is well-maintained and clean.

After a sporting event remained next door at the norwood hotel. the music in the bar area was way to loud, hard to talk, then the live music started and it was still too loud. but who also. my friends. and I got a lot of late night finger food, chicken nachos (huge portion but tasty), poutine (super yummy comfort food), pierogis (a little dry but tasty), teriyaki chicken wing (best wing I had in a long time), wrap sammie (basic wrap sandwich). the local zider, it was a perfect mix of sweet and dry, and on a laune commanded my friend a round lemon drop dishes, one of the best dishes I ever had, seriously, so good! I would go back there and sit in the restaurant to avoid the loud music. our waitress was great, I almost forgot to mention her!

I am usually hesitant to dine in hotel restaurants because they sometimes do not put much effort into their food when they have a guaranteed customer base. However, I was pleasantly surprised at Norwood. The menu was simple but excellent. I ordered the crispy chicken dish with a choice of Caesar or Greek salad, both of which had real speck and Parmesan cheese. Our server was polite and our food arrived quickly. All four of us enjoyed our meal and I highly recommend this restaurant.

We often have breakfast there and it's always great. they will even replace if they have allergies.
