BIMI Japanese Restaurant - Winnipeg

This place is already famous as the most unsanitary restaurant in the Korean community. I always suffered from abdominal pain in the next day whenever I eat here too. Also heard that the government has already received a lot of reports.However, rude racist server is one of serious problems too.Chinese male server forces customers to tip, especially when it's only Asian customers. That's a really serious problem, also proves that there's something wrong with this restaurant.Honestly I was really surprised. We've already prepared cash tips to give before we leave seat, but Chinese server strongly blamed us that we didn't give a tip in a very rude attitude. This man changed our mood to all negative energies, couldn't be more disappointed.This restaurant absolutely needs to provide service education for employees. And educate them how to RESPECT customers. (The server literally cut off all my words and raised its voice to say only what it had to say. And IGNORE when I was talking, pretending working on POS machine, while I was talking right front of his face lol)

I’ve heard about the long waiting time but I didn’t expect for it to take THAT long… The other tables that came later got their food before us. We ordered the fried chicken and it arrived 45 minutes later, no exaggeration… On that note, the chicken was delicious. So if you don’t mind waiting a long time, go have dinner here. Maybe come at 5 if you usually eat dinner at 6…

The fried chicken was sooo gooood! it was crispy and flavorful and not soggy at all. also, BIG portion! i especially liked their spicy seafood soup, however, a little more spicy would have been better but it’s just my opinion. also, the server was so sweet. overall, nice experience!!

Quality is really bad. I ordered a yam tempura roll and the yam was not cooked at all. Really hard. I ordered a tempura salmon sushi roll and part of the salmon was not fully cooked. And I ordered one more roll that was supposed to have mayo and didn’t.When I tried to communicate all this, the waitress didn’t understand me but didn’t bother to call someone that would. And when I went to pay for it, they were talking about it behind my back. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

Fantastic food, but the staff… ordered pick up, and paid for the food, the girl at the cash, not only was she not pleasant to start, said in Chinese to her coworker “he didn’t tip me” and talking negatively about me. Surprise!! I speak Chinese! Very rude and ignorant of her to talk like that in front of me thinking I don’t understand. If I was dining in the restaurant and didn’t tip, sure say that, but when I’m ordering take out?
