Bidrage med feedbackIt's okay in here, the food didn't impress me all that much. Plus they still had a lot of the stuff from Cafe Ce Soir so it was like they either hadn't finished moving in, weren't really ready for customers, or just couldn't be bothered. The food wasn't bad, just alright. Not sure if I'd go back though.
Tasty food at this Syrian restaurant. Decent sized portions with good pricing. My vegan friend was very impressed with her falafels.I ordered my Chicken shawarma plate $13. The only issue was they did not bring us the pickles or garlic sauce. We were told after we needed to ask for us, but since it was on the menu, that surprised me a bit. We realized after we had eaten so at that point we did not want anymore.Aside from that we enjoyed our food. The chicken was typical of middle eastern chicken (a bit on the drier side for me, but I find most restaurant are like that aside from Baraka). I'm not sure if that's just the way the meat is supposed to be (less moist, more dry) so if that's true, then this place is doing it right.Parking is available in the back. There was a fire recently which cleared out a building, so there is a LOT of parking now.
A little lackluster, I will give it another chance to see if they grow into it.
I absolutely love this place! I go very frequently and they are always so friendly. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you for everything!
Excellent service and authentic cuisine. Had Chicken shawarma and Falafel platters, generous and cooked with care to details with fine spices. The Baklava and cheese roll for desert were also amazing. Have to return to try the Fatoush also. Definitely will be back. The place still has lingering decor traces from its previous French restaurant identity, so feels a bit rustic or temporary, but is warm and welcoming.
