Bidrage med feedbackWe have been to the Sunday Brunch a couple of times. The price for seniors is not much more than going to a fast food restaurant. While you enjoy an excellent brunch you can relax and watch the cityscape move around you. Winnipeg is a beautiful city from up there. The thousands of trees and parks look like a green carpet covering the city.
Went in on a Saturday evening for a group of 7 people. I reserved out in advanced for 6 people but the restaurant called thr night before so I had time to tell them there were 7 coming. You have to check the menu before coming as there very are limited options. We were there just as the sun was setting so the sun was blinding us a little bit. The restaurant was revolving however so it wasnt an issue. Some of my friends got dizzy at the beginning but started to feel ok after a while. They also validate parking. 5 stars for the place. I would only go there for the experience and not for the menu.
As always the waitresses are extremely polite have you seated within moments and food is always on schedule. Weather your looking for romantic getaway or a nice business meeting Prairie 360 has splendid options. Along with amazing views of the city below
I visited Prairie 360 for lunch. This is definitely a unique place to eat and a great Winnipeg experience. The lunch menu was limited but had a variety of options including two meals that were gluten free and vegetarian friendly. I ordered the Super Greek Salad which had quinoa, tomatoes, red onion, red pepper, olives, cucumber, avocado, chickpeas and hummus. It tasted delicious! The portion size was on the smaller side though and wasn’t completely filling. The prices were a little high for the portion sizes but still fairly reasonable. The restaurant is located on the 30th floor of the Fort Garry Hotel is a circular shape that slowly revolves around the stationary central part of the restaurant. It takes an hour for the restaurant to do a full circle. The revolving motion actually gave me a bit of vertigo even though it was super slow. There are windows all around the exterior which provide incredible views of Winnipeg! This was definitely the coolest part of eating here. I loved the amazing views and perspectives of downtown and surrounding area likely among some of the best in the city! There is a glass elevator that takes you to the 28th floor and then another regular one up to the restaurant. The glass elevator was fast and a little freaky, watching how high you were going. The service at the restaurant was friendly and professional. I would recommend eating at Prairie 360 for the food and the experience.
This is a very unique experience for Winnipeg. Overall we had a good experience. I ordered the duck and the vegetables that accompanied it made it one of the nicest meals I've had. My girlfriends meal was not as nice however. She ordered a steak rice bowl, she was not a big fan of it tho, as the steak wasn't seasoned very well. The staff was excellent! They were very friendly and came by frequently to check up on us. The prices are a little on the expensive side, however you pay for the view you get. It was very nice having a constant revolving view of the city. I would recommend going when it is darker out like in the winter as the view would look even nicer. Overall I would recommend checking this place out at least once while you are in Winnipeg!
