Triangle Oasis Restaurants - Winkler

Beautiful place the buffet is great, but expensive, today we had the triangular burger mushroom n bacon,Great taste, my wife had touch fry, very bland

We used to love coming here, but the food and service has really gone down hill. i could of gotten over the cold food, but the terrible service was the kicker. i guess we will find a new favorite place in Winkler i think the...staff needs an attitude tune up and a bit more time cleaning would not hurt. sad but we will never go back

On the 19 of August my wife and I had occasion to drive to Winkler Manitoba. Our purpose was to eat supper at the Triangle Oasis Friday night Mennonite buffet . Were we in for a surprise and disappointment. The restaurant was approximately 3/4 of...capacity . The buffet trays ranged from empty to 15 percent full . Eg no meatballs no pioneer sausage no perogies . We and others waited a good 20 minutes before any food was brought out to replenish the empty trays . When any fòod did arrive , it was gone within a matter of minutes by hungry diners who were waiting and waiting and waiting. New customers were coming in as others waited . My wife took a plate and put a few remnants of food on a plate and commented how unremarkable everything was . It was so pathetic I just a drank a glass of water and passed on the buffet . I took pictures of the empty trays on the steam table several times . What did come out with dry and scrimpy . The sausage in 1 inch by half inch rings of cool bland so called famous pioneer sausage. One tray of about 40 perogies came out in the almost an hour was sat there . I could go on and on , but no sense . I paid the 16 for my wifes one plate of food . The pictures if this fiasco are still on my phone. PS I am not exaggerating. Save your money and avoid this money grab . There are lots of good restaurants in Winkler . This is sure not one of them. Think I am wrong ? Give it a try and you will see for yourself. A waste of time and money .

Good selection for the buffet on the weekend. Although their prices are a little high when you include soda pop for dinner. The favorite is the cotton cheese perogies. Extremely tasty.
