Bidrage med feedbackThis is a late-breakfast and lunch place in a lively neighborhood away from the riverside casino hubbub. Its menu is filled with unique choices, and its staff is attentive and entirely top notch. It was recommended to us by the proprietor of an independent bookstore in Windsor. And we weren't at all disappointed. If you're not into meat or eggs you might try the peach salad, which contains mixed greens, fresh peaches, bocconcini cheese, cherry tomato, red onion, sunflower seeds, roasted corn and maple balsamic dressing.
Service was amazing as was the food! (Stuffed French Toast and Eggs Benny). We will definitely return!
A drive to Windsor to pick up a Marketplace item and why not have a late breakfast while in town. Chose The Twisted Apron and a fine choice it was. Good crowd but no wait as I guess we got lucky. Seated right away and Betty took our drink order as we mulled over the menu. My wife decided on the Benny and I the Atlantic Benny, A1 all around, just a tad not hot enough but the heat on the hash browns made up for the Benny temp. Betty was very attentive at all the right times KUDOS to her. A great spot if in town would do it again.
Four of us had dinner on here Saturday night. The food and service was excellent! Brie burger, beet salad and fish and chips were outstanding. Don't have to order the two piece unless you are planning on sharing!
On our way to Detroit from Toronto we spot at this restaurant. My wife had vegetable omelette and I had chicken tacos. Both were excellent tasting items. On our return back from Detroit we went back to the Twisted Apron that says it all.
