Sunrise Cafe - Windsor

I was craving a cheeseburger and decided to satisfy my craving at Sunrise Cafe. I sat at one of the six bar stools and listened to the radio while waiting for my lunch to be prepared. The burger was flavorful and had a homemade touch. It was also very affordable and delicious!

The staff is friendly and the food is tasty, but the prices are high for the portion sizes. I requested peanut butter and they gave me a small amount in a ketchup cup, similar to what you would find at a fast food restaurant.

This place is family business with a totally Canadian style, which means traditional diner food served in a simple environment. They have the old style counters as well as tables and chairs for couples and groups. Good prices of personal service part...a constantly improving Ottawa Street scene!

We jumped to Sunday breakfast/lunch this morning, for the first time in a mood in the neighborhood. We were not disappointed! Fast, friendly service with excellent prices and fabulous dishes! Thanks for a good meal: We'll be back.

For under five bucks, you can enjoy a delicious plate of bacon and eggs with real potato home fries and toast, all paired with a cup of coffee. The waitress here also happens to be the cook, making for a cozy and personal dining experience. Remember to show your appreciation for the service in this small establishment by leaving a little tip. Overall, a great spot to start your day off right!
