Shawarma Castle - Windsor

I discovered Shawarma Castle when I moved to Windsor and was looking for a good place to eat regularly. Their shawarmas are top-notch, better than other nearby stores, and the prices are great. A shawarma costs only $3.99, and a combo with potatoes and a drink is around $6. The staff is friendly, but be sure to specify which sauces you want on your shawarma before they add the chicken, as they sometimes forget.

Shawarma Castle stands out in a city chock full of places selling shawarma...The side dish of roasted potatoes is reason enough to go but the sandwich is fantastic. Helpful proprietors maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Nice touch is a tv with sports to watch while eating...

One of the best ones in the city. They guy makes it good. They don't have whole wheat pita bread option and also no wi-fi. They have a TV however.

One of my all time favourite locations for lunch. I always order the chicken shawarma plate with tabouli and my hosts know me as a repeat customer. They now ask me if I would like "the usual?" I most certainly would as I have yet to have a problem with it in over 3 years of visiting for lunchtime. Very recommended especially if you are tired of a burger and fries for lunch. You can eat well and have wholesome food too.

Beef and chicken shawarma sandwiches that are among the cheapest ways to eat in the city. Very close to the University of Windsor. Their strength is definitely the chicken or mixed shawarma and potato special with a pop for $6.99 (used to be 5.99!!!). Get a little extra hot sauce, you will glad you did. I have read a hater review on Yelp that they were slow - but how do you make good food super fast? nothing is fried, they make every sandwich to order, it takes 5 minutes...been going here for years since they opened the door and have never had a bad food experience. Nice guys once they get to know you are a regular too.
