Bean's Ladle Eatery & Take-Out

I was feeling chilly and was looking forward to warming up with some gumbo and jambalaya. Unfortunately, the dishes were not as hot as I prefer my food to be.

My girlfriend and I decided to have a spontaneous date at this restaurant with the goal of trying some Louisiana style gumbo.

I have been passing by this restaurant for too long. The crawfish and lobster bisque as an appetizer was an excellent choice, very flavorful.

Eat there often when in Windsor. It is close to the university and has great food. Large portions and tasty. There is free parking in the back as well.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight. My husband ordered the Cabbage Soup and a Corn beef Sandwich, I ordered Fish and Shrimp. My husband said the soup was great, he really enjoyed it. I loved my fish it was the best I have tasted in a long time, however I don't know how the shrimp tasted because the server heard me wrong and ordered fish and chips. The service wasn't to bad, the servers were polite. We will definitely return for dinner again.
