Bidrage med feedbackI was absolutely disgusted with my experience at the restaurant today. I am a regular customer, but unfortunately, I will not be returning. The last three visits have left me disappointed and have ended my patronage to this once beloved establishment. The service, especially from the older blonde lady whose name I do not know, is terrible. She is definitely not a people person and each interaction with her has made me reconsider coming back. Today was the last straw, as she rudely refused to serve me breakfast at 11:30, despite others before me being able to order breakfast. She showed no remorse or attempt to accommodate me, even though I frequently visit. I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed. This place used to be a favorite of mine, but I will not be returning. I suggest taking your money and positive energy elsewhere.
Every Friday morning from 7am to 8:45am, we host our weekly BNI business networking breakfast meeting at the Royal Windsor Farm Shop Cafe for local businesses. The ordering process for breakfast options such as sausage baps, egg baps, beans on toast, or mushroom and spinach on toast is very efficient. The staff are incredibly accommodating and flexible, even with last minute changes. They always have teas, coffees, and cups ready for us, and the food is delicious. The sausage baps are a particular favorite among attendees. Overall, it is a smooth and enjoyable experience at the cafe.
The restaurant has a dimly lit atmosphere with unappealing decor. They were out of cakes, so we had to settle for a lone piece that cost £4.10 and a dry, tasteless flapjack. Overall, we were not satisfied and will not be returning.
When here today with family and went into the baby change facility and to say I was mortified at the baby changing mat as I pulled it down it had rust on it and the toilet it self was disgusting and don’t know when it was last cleaned. When spoke to the people who worked there they did not seem to care either
I was meeting with my friend and this was our go to place before Covid as it had a great menu and a lovely selection of cakes. That is not the case these days despite what their website says. Lots of the food mentioned on there is not available and yet it is available to buy in their shop next door! I was told when I checked over the phone they were back at to normal but we found that not to be the case. There was a very limited choice of items on the lunch menu and if you want a dressing for your side salad bring your own. I asked where the dressings were and was told they had Brown sauce, Red sauce and Mayonnaise which were all in plastic sachets but no salad dressings. What a choice to put on my side salad unlike before when they had vinaigrette, Balsamic vinegar or Honey and mustard dressing along with many others. We were told this was because of delivery issues which we accepted but after our lunch we visited the shop and there was a whole stand full of salad dressings to buy but for some reason they don’t have any in the coffee shop so I do not believe it’s due to delivery issues more like cost cutting. The choice of cakes was better than when it was takeaway only but still not as good as it used to be and there is no patisserie even though it says there is on the website which has obviously not been updated so misleads customers. I would also like to mention they do not take cash in the coffee shop only card but they are happy to take it in their farm shop. How odd is that. You would think it was separately owned. Maybe the Queen needs to pay a visit to her coffee shop and see how it’s changed for the worse which is a shame as there’s easy free parking which is unusual in Windsor. We will not be returning though as there’s plenty of places better than this now. I have forewarned friends of our experience and they too were very suprised. If you just want a coffee and cake and easy parking it will be fine but don’t expect eclairs and fresh cream cakes or you too will be disappointed and don’t go with cash only or you will have to leave.
