Starbucks - Windsor

I was looking forward to giving this Starbucks a five-star review. Yesterday I spent almost two and a half hours working in this Starbucks. The dining area was clean and comfortable. Not a ridiculous amount of noise.Then I came back today and the dining area was approximately 80 degrees, very humid, and unbearable to even finish my coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful, but when I look back at other reviews, the word inconsistent comes up .Unfortunately, I have to agree. I stumbled on to a good day and then the next day was anything but.Starbucks around the United States tend to have a problem with climate control. When you ask the staff to adjust the temperature control, they say Starbucks corporate controls the temperature. They say it's out of their control. If today were my first and only encounter with this Starbucks, this would be a one-star review.

The lady who took our order was very energetic and was very nice. It took a little while to get our drinks. We ordered a chai cream Frappuccino with 8 pumps of chai and it was mostly milk and ice, very disappointing. It was so bad we had to take it back. We also ordered a Carmel crunch Frappuccino and it was very good. 8/10 I would recommend. Overall visit was not as pleasing as I would have liked.

I asked for my order, and Liz giggled as I was telling her my order. I automatically thought in my head, did I say something wrong? Then they started questioning my drink and giggled. I asked them politely if they were able to do my drink, and that if y they couldn’t it was ok. They went on to keep questioning my drink with other drinks. I then decided to just go to the Starbucks across the street. Honestly, what made me upset was them laughing or giggling as I read my order. Be polite about things and if you have suggestions give them but don’t giggle or make customers feel uncomfortable. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

This location is not our favorite as it's just unpredictable. When in a hurry though we hit the only drive thru in town or grab something quick in the morning. Lately, our drinks are given with less amount. See photo. Another issue is the temp. We started ordering extra hot and that sometimes works. Lastly- there is no trash can inside or right outside the building. You can compost or recycle- but given no trash you contaminated whatever is in there.

Asked for extra caramel in macchiato and I was given hardly any caramel. I politely asked for little more then I was given a drink drowned in caramel painted the sides of the cup with a mound of caramel on the bottom with hardly any coffee. Rude and unprofessional.
