Shandare - Windsor

We often enjoyed the keg and it is one of our favorite places in Windsor. The fillet and lobster tail were as delicious as expected. Only for this visit was the temperature in the restaurant. Full disclosure was during a really unseasonally hot spell and I don't think their AC unit treats things well. It was warmer than usual and did not offer the comfort we were used to.

We had a free cake for our anniversary. This is a beautiful location of the keg. Outside terrace overlooks the river and the city of Michigan. The steak is very tasty and delicate. Service is great. Price is reasonable. Serving is enough. I highly recommend this place.

May 2022: Spencer, you Steinmann. Keg's lucky to have you in her team. I say excellent customer services I've ever witnessed, I think that should be the benchmark. You just did my day. I would definitely visit again. Stop the good works. Cheers. Undoubtedly, the food is good. I liked my salmon with vegetables. I wish the part of the meal could be bigger, can be another piece of fish. I felt hungry after I finished my meal. The outdoor seating arrangement is good, although a bit loud by continuous traffic. They follow the COVID-19 protocols with social distancing, sanitizers etc. It took a while to find the parking lot and it wasn't free. Customer service is excellent, though a bit slow, can rush to a bit.

The food is delicious here. The portions are good. We came here during the COVID and only outdoors was allowed. It was a beautiful view of the river. It was pretty busy, so it would be a good idea to make a reservation before the time. The server was nice too.

Came here last night with My boyfriend. Our server Spencer absolutely ROCKED. Took great care of us! Always made sure we had enough water and was satisfied throughout the night. Definitely the one to ask for when reserving a table! Other staff were really accommodating as we asked to change our seats (I know is annoying) but she did it with a smile and made sure our next move that we were satisfied with The food was great, steak was very tender and juicy everything was well seasoned. Will definitely be back!
