Mackinac Island Creamery - Windsor

I couldn't decide what to get and our waiter suggested trying the meatloaf and wow I'm so glad I did. It was delicious. My fiance got the Mac n cheese burger and said it was tasty too. The service is slow, but that is the way it is now with staff shortages. So if you have a problem waiting, stay home. If you don't mind, put this on your list of a must places to eat while in the area.

Quite a nice atmosphere and a popular, busy place. Very limited menu. Burgers etc. Given a table after a short wait at the bar but then no service. Despite asking the hostess, for a waiter then still waited 15 minutes for a waiter. When finally ordering food we asked for some water. Not delivered until meal. Can’t blame the server for this but the food came in a plastic basket with coleslaw side in a plastic container. Is it too much to ask that a dinner be served on a hot ceramic plate.

Great View, sandwich and waitress! Our 2nd time here and loved it. Our waitress, Darlene, brought us a piece of cake because we told her we got engaged here 5 years ago. So sweet!

I had ordered the whitefish cakes, they were excellent. They give you alot of food and the service was good but SLOW, we didn't see our waitress very much. I would eat here again but just be prepared to have a long wait to get the food or your check.

We had dinner here and sat at the bar. I had the Michigan salad (hold the blue cheese! and the salad with Apple Vinaigrette Dressing was really good. My husband had the steamed shrimp, first time having them prepared that way, and he said it was one of the best shrimp dishes he's ever had. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again. Ron the bartender was wonderful, too, and we don't even drink!!
