Bear's Smokehouse Barbecue - Windsor

Had the Poutine with the Brisket and a local IPA and could not have asked for a better meal. Everybody that I went with loved the food so much it was a great place to stop by before going to Bradley airport. All the workers were very friendly and struck up conversation!

Self seating. Would recommend looking at the menu before entering the ordering line. After explaining to the employees it was our first time. We still felt rushed with minimal customer service. One gentleman was just concerned that we were charged correctly.

Best barbecue restaurant in CT, staff was wonderful, the inside of the restaurant makes you feel like you're at a camp deep in the woods !

I wish I could give the atmosphere like 10 stars! What a great place with great food and great staff. Best BBQ dine in experience in the North! The sides are phenomenal, my personal favorite being...all of them. The meat is out of this world, and the smell as soon as you get to the parking lot is heavenly. My stomach rumbled thinking about them as I'm typing this. Also appreciate their mission statement and the good they do for the community. Eating with morality. Love it.

Clean environment with ample seatings made the dine in experience feel much more comfortable. You order at the serving counter and leave with the food as you pay, so we sat down and enjoyed our time without any pressure. Though, the food was a bit on the mediocre side ribs, cut meats, and chicken wings were all little dry and sides weren’t very impressive either. You get several sauces you can try out which all got some nice flavors to them, but they all had similar tastes to me, just with different kicks. I think this would be a good spot for an easy night. Get the food on the spot, sit down anywhere you want, and just enjoy the experience.
