Cedar Manor - Windermere

An expensive treat but well worth it. Beautiful food, great service, nice setting.

We ate in the restaurant twice while staying. There was an intimate atmosphere and excellent presentation with attention to detail. There was an above average menu and the food was well cooked. Cheeseboard highly recommended. It was a special occasion and the hotel pulled out the stops.

I had informed the restaurant before hand that I was gluten free and everything was explained and gluten free friendly. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We had a lovely quite evening celebrating my husband’s birthday. Would highly recommend it to all.

Excellent all round service, friendly and chatty waiting staff, nice ambience. Food was top notch, Gluten free options were plentiful, wouldn't hesitate to book here again in the future.

We were staying at The Cedar Manor Hotel so decided to eat at the restaurant the first night. The steak was very good but the gnocci was disappointing. And there is no kid’s menu so if you are travelling with juniors, then you’re better off eating outside or ordering off the limited room service menu. Other than that, the service was fine and it’s a nice ambience.
