The Phoenix Inn - Winchester

What a treat to eat at this pub, food is devine and lots of it. The atmosphere is lovely, well recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.

This pub is so easy to relax in. Cosy, friendly and good food at reasonable prices. Beer options very good and well kept. After another excellent meal, sat near a log fire it was very hard to leave.

I came here with a friend for some food and a pint after a nearby gig at The Swiss Cottage, which is about 500 yards away. The staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly, the menu had a good variety of options, and the food itself was delicious. They also had a great selection of real ale. I will definitely be returning when I am in the area again.

We went for lunch today and, as always, it was wonderful. The portions of homemade food were generous. We started with prawn cocktail and tempura prawns, which were deliciously crispy. For our main course, we had a freshly cooked omelette and toastie, perfectly prepared with a side salad and chips. There is a wide variety of food options available that cater to everyone's tastes. The landlady and staff were friendly, and the service was efficient. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. Congratulations to Emma and the team, you are a great asset to this establishment.

This is the sort of pub that you don't find often, a real local with solid food, great beer and an atmosphere that is just as a local should be. I cannot rate it highly enough.
