The Dove Inn - Winchester

A real sound. great eating, very friendly staff. a real country pub within steps of a railway station. it is also worth looking at the vodka bar. I don't even like vodka and had visions of teenagers who nod vodka (with excuses for youthful, I made it myself on the day! what they actually get is a beautiful space with a well curated collection of artesan traditional vodkas from all over Eastern Europe - and a very knowledgeable renter to tell them everything about them. in any case worth a visit!

Lovely staff, really sweet had a Santa's grotto made up for the kids and did a visit from Santa. Brilliant experience really lovely. Today we had lunch in the pub garden. Beautiful food my wife and I had the Vegan cheeseburger which was delicious, my dad had a very fancy looking fish finger sandwich with salad.

Stayed for the weekend 10th -12th July. Excellent pub, lovely room and en suite very clean, comfy bed albeit a double. (We are used to king-size) we Stayed in the Bluebell room. Excellent food. Owners lovely, very helpful as were the rest of the staff. Woukd highly recommend. Intend to go back so we can visit the Bombay Saffire gin distillery! Stayed this time to attend a wedding.

This is such a wonderful pub, the staff are kind and attentive, it was really such a lovely lunch under the pagoda. Dog friendly too, great pub I will be back again. Thank you all, especially biscuit, lady who my dog loved

One of the best places i've ever stayed. Very friendly, excellent food, nice accomodation and good price (by their own website). Making you feel like home...or better!!
