Hoxton Bakehouse - Winchester

I regularly buy my morning coffee here, I’ve never found the staff all that friendly, But today I was verbally attacked by two members off staff, and all because I wanted to use cash and not card. Saying they need to wash their hand, being one of their big issues, something that should be done in a regular basis when handling food I should say? So I told them it needs to be personal choice, if a person wants to pay cash then let them pay with it, or change the policy to card only. I don’t appreciate being told what to do by a couple of young girls, basically making me feel unclean. I will never buy coffee from here again. I’m utterly appalled.

This bakery is such a lovely new asset to Winchester. I have seen them around the markets but can now say I am thoroughly addicted to their bloomer sourdough. The quality and passion is very clear here... just wished I lived closer or better still upstairs so I could buy a loaf everyday!

Came for a much needed pick me up. Fantastic bread, delicious pastries and highly recommended customer service. Fantastic to find an artisan bakery with such wonderful and fresh produce. Lovely!

Found this little hidden gem whilst on a visit to Winchester, this is possibly one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had in my life! On top of the excellent coffee, my partner and I treated ourselves to a couple of their delicious pastries, I had the chocolate tart and my partner had a cinnamon bun, both were so tasty and well worth it! We weren’t familiar with hoxton before visiting so didn’t realise that they produce all their bread and pastries freshly everyday. We have subsequently ended up buying their bread every week! Would certainly recommend hoxton to all food and coffee lovers out there!
