Costa Coffee - Winchester

The seating area and layout of the restaurant have been improved after renovations, including the serving counter. However, the same issue persists - it takes too long to be served and the staff doesn't seem to prioritize clearing the queue quickly. Despite this, the coffee quality is consistently good, which explains its popularity.

I visit this costa a lot and it is my favourite one. Very spacious, lots of comfortable seating, nice and cosy atmosphere and great service Drinks I get here are always perfect and the staff are friendly.

Lovely lady but never have I ever felt more uncomfortable in the presence of a hot chocolate. The bits were clumpy and yellow

A bunch of inexperienced staff who need training. We had no idea where to queue as we were ignored for a long time, despite about staff members being the serving areas! Unhelpful. No napkins available when having food. Medium coffee far too large, no...idea where this company gets it's measurements from . Paid extra for a special coffee as we know how bitter Costa Coffee normally is, but we had a cake voucher. Will not return, not a pleasant experience. No masks worn by staff either !

They ask everyone to use the app yet when you do, you wait minutes to be told the order has been ‘missed’. No apology, nothing. The whole place is disorganised, the track and trace QR codes don’t work and the ‘one way system’ doesn’t...work with the other signs… I.e. the signs tell you to find a table before ordering but to do that you have to walk the opposite way to the one way system. Chaos for an average coffee and sandwich.
