Bidrage med feedbackWe went to Alfie 's for the Arsenal vs Liverpool match and all was swell. We carried on our night and went to multiple other pubs, causing no trouble at all. It was until we got to the Baker 's Arms and were refused entry as it was too full. We returned 10 minutes later and every thing was fine. We were just about to order drinks and got kicked out for no reason, with the apparent 'landlord ' pushing us out. We then went to Alfie 's and were refused entry for no reason at all, as the 'landlord ' from Alfie 's must have communicated this to them. Confused as to why we weren 't allowed to go in. Very disappointed.
We visited twice over a weekend. The first time was ok, service a little slow but it was a busy Christmas market weekend. The second time it was early evening and very quiet. The wine was average at best: there was only one ale available, water was served in a plastic beaker and the cleanliness of the toilets left a lot to be desired. On speaking to the bar staff, we realised they operate on a successful after midnight business model and probably don’t really care too much for the sort of experience we were hoping for. Suggest avoiding unless you’ve already had a good evening out want to finish off your night here with cheap shots and plastic beakers.
Busy spacious local pub and ideal for watching live football. Good selection of drinks and very pleasant staff Food mainly burgers and piazzas but was very nice. If you fancy a late night drink this is the place to go.
Popped in here for a quick drink with a variety to choose from. Staff were lovely. Plenty of space in their beer garden which has a pool table and tvs to watch sports.Would drink here again.
Booked a table to watch the rugby and had burgers/pizzas/chips in our group of 7. Bar staff were really friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and when we had a minor issue they were so apologetic and offered a round of drinks which was incredibly generous. Great experience we will be back!
