Valerie Hill Vineyard Winery

Beautiful scenery! It's delightful to stroll through the vineyards, and the expansive landscape on the way to the winery is breathtaking. The staff is fantastic—very courteous and dedicated to meeting the needs of their customers. The clientele is lovely as well. Personally, I could do without the live music; I would much prefer the sounds of birds and the occasional cow from the nearby farm with its lovely cattle. The historic house features several interesting original rooms filled with great antiques. While the facilities on the upper floor are a bit outdated from the 80s, they are still comfortable. There are designated areas for guests aged 21 and over, so please leave the babies and children at home! It would be nice to have a few grown-ups around. That said, this place is quite large, offering plenty of space for everyone! We were able to find quiet corners both indoors and outside for some privacy. The food was also enjoyable! Overall, a great experience!

I stopped here with my fiancée on our way north. The service was excellent, and the manager, Josh, enhanced our experience with his informative, welcoming, and personal approach. We felt right at home as we enjoyed our selections of red and white wine. We highly recommend this place and plan to stop by again if we get the chance.

Great wine in Stephens City. The wine is good, although not produced on-site. The views are beautiful, and the 200-year-old house is simply amazing. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. While the food options were limited, it was tasty. Overall, it's a fantastic place to spend an afternoon.

My man, his niece and her man and I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon visit and tasting today. the personal was friendly, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. the plot, the gardens and the house is beautiful and relaxing. the jewel in the crown of the weingute is the amazingly well preserved herren house. had not met any ghost (the house is praised), but met some nice people who also enjoy the wee and the beautiful weather. this is a place where I will bring friends and visitors to the future.

5/5 experience! General manager Josh was great.. gave us a run down of all the wines in detail. The wines were some of the best I had in this area, and appealed to my tastes (and liked some things I normally wouldn’t) meat and cheese boards were great, along with the bread. Thankful to have that one on one time with him, I recommend if you’re a first timer come on the week day because it’s less busy. Will definitely be back!
