Nice and cosy with a lovely family atmosphere. Plenty of parking and a decent number of tables both inside and out. Food was reasonably priced and was delicious.
Lovely food. Very friendly staff. We just walked in and asked for a table. We were made to feel very welcome from the off. Dogs are also welcome which is a bonus! Would highly recommend.
Great staff, lovely beer garden, good selection of drinks but the food in my opinion was below par. We had the roasts and the gravy was not authentic but most likely from a packet, the meat was also chewy and not very satisfying to eat. The potatoes were the highlight. A shame about our meal but I would return for a drink and try an alternative dish next time.
What a find, on our way back from Bournemouth working to Bristol and stubbled across this lovely big old country pub. The lounge bar was very welcoming where we had a good chat with the barmaids, the locals and even some dogs. Very nice atmosphere, lovely decor and generally a very good rural Inn. Special mention to Heather behind the bar who without doubt made our day.... Very funny professional barmaid. Employee of the month we say ! ! See heather over our Guineas
