Bidrage med feedbackStayed at the Bruce Arms campiste for a week in July23. I was in my campervan and used the electric hook up. Great location and quiet. Great little campsite with clean toilets and free showers. Washing machine available at £3 per go. Pub was great with loads of outside seating. Loads of good beer options. Didn't try the food. I will be back.
Eight members of our car club camped here for a week in July. We had a couple of dinners and breakfasts in the pub, all of which were well cooked and great value. Stefan and staff were all lovely and very friendly. We all had such a good time that we plan to visit again next year. Thank you Stefan!
Stumbled upon this little gem over Easter weekend. Hadn't booked, but were able to accommodate our campervan. Evening dinner in the restaurant was very good, and all in made for a very reasonable stay. Thank you so much for a lovely stop over.
Very enjoyable stay. The walks are beautiful and The Bruce is situated in a fabulous position, the locals are very welcoming and if you need your dog groomed there is a fantastic groomer in the next village. Stefan is very relaxed and Tess behind the bar is a font of knowledge. I’ll definitely return.
Camping for 2 night with a Campervan and awning on a EHU pitch. The campsite was level, the pitch was plenty big enough even though it was a busy weekend and was quiet in the middle of no where countryside. The only issue is the lack of shower and toilet numbers, 1 toilet and 1 shower per gender was not enough plus the sinks aren’t big enough to have a wash in. Overall good value for money though The pub was simple tables and chairs but we were outside due to the heatwave. The beer selection was not as good as I hoped, no dark ales, only one lager. The food was excellent, limited menu but great value, the gammon was particularly good
