Bidrage med feedbackThe food never disappoints in this place. Freshly cooked to order so maybe you have to wait a little longer (I 've never thought it was slow service), but so worth it, the chef is happy to cook your meal to whatever level of 'heat ' you desire. The staff are friendly and welcoming and I would recommend this restaurant to anybody. Added bonus of bring your own alcohol so makes for a very reasonable night too, WIN WIN!
This is a restaurant I frequent often with friends, and we always receive a warm welcome. The staff provides good advice on vegetarian options and the spiciness level of dishes. Everything is homemade on site, so there may be a slight wait, but we enjoy chatting and snacking on poppadums while we wait. The meal was excellent and everyone was pleased, especially since bringing our own beer and wine made it more cost-effective. It's a wonderful place for a relaxed start to the weekend.
Came on a night out with friends and had a great night. The food is fab and best of all you can take your own beer/wine and there is no corkage charge so especially great on a budget! Definitely recommend.
We visited this restaurant as a group of friends catching up on a saturday evening, and to be honest we hadn't been in here since it changed hands a while ago. We had booked a table, but the young waiter seemed a little vague when we stated it, still, there was only two other tables with people sat, so we managed to get a table anyway. poppadums quickly arrived and we then perused the menu. a nice range of specials so we all plumped for them. we then had a little wait for mains, and we waited a little more, and then a little more. lots of takeaways were going out the front door, but none were coming into the restaurant! we were the only table waiting to for food, so was surprised it took so long. after an hour we politely enquired where our food was and was told it would be along shortly......thankfully it was, when the food came it was very tasty and hit the mark, however we were ravenous by now so anything could have tasted great! but all said their curries were good and the portions were just about right. only one waiter in the restaurant until about 9 we booked for 7pm! and i think he could have had a little help and been a little more warming towards the guests, as he was very formal and not really very welcoming, but not rude. a girl then appeared and cleared tables, but she didn't smile either. the food was good, but they could do with learning a bit about customer service, prioritising restaurant orders rather than takeaways, or just going into a straight take away- all the delivery drivers sat at the front of the restaurant makes it a bit off putting- although i guess they have nowhere else to go- could do with a bit of love!! all round....
A group of six had a meal here last Saturday evening. The restaurant had only two other tables occupied at this time. Our orders were taken quickly (no starters) but it took over an hour for the meals to arrive (my Wife had to have a word), eventhough there was a steady stream of takeaways passing our table. The food was excellent. We all had different dishes from the Specialities menu and were all very pleased with the food. Please Aroma of Bengal Pay more attention to restaurant customers!!!!!
