Bidrage med feedbackThis is one of the cleanest dog parks I've been to. There are rarely any waste issues, and there's plenty of space for dogs to run around and enjoy themselves. The two-layered security system is very effective, which adds peace of mind. There's also a great water feature for dogs to splash around in, along with a large area for easy cleanup. Additionally, there’s a shaded pavilion for shade, green areas all around, and an interesting agility course for dogs to navigate.
I recently visited one of the most beautiful dog parks in Connecticut! It's a spacious, fenced area featuring a paved section complete with a fountain and sprinkler. There's also a large grassy area equipped with ramps, hoops, and various fun elements for dogs to enjoy. Additionally, for those with smaller pups, there's a separate fenced area designed specifically for small dogs!
On August 14, 2019, I explored the beautiful hiking trails at the Catherine Violet Hubbard Sanctuary, located at 3 Old Farmen Road, Newtown, CT. The trails run parallel to the brook, providing a serene setting for nature lovers. You can find the hiking trail listed on AllTrails as Al’s Trail: Tiefenbacherhaltung.
My dog loves bringing me here! this place is great for all dogs.
Adore this park! It's got all you need and more: large fenced in play area, a small dog area (that's very nice), agility training area, faucets and bowls, shaded area, lots of seating, and even water spouts! You push a button and two jets of water go shooting up so much fun watching the dogs play with it. As someone with a dog who loves to roll in anything gross, I really appreciate that they have a hose available as well. Great spot with great folks and great dogs!
