The George On The Riverwalk

*UPDATE they no longer carry the beyond burger or anything vegan on their menu* I was super excited to come here, especially with their separate vegan menu. When I arrived, I was told by the staff that they don’t have a vegan menu anymore. The only option is a Beyond Burger. I like a good vegan burger here and there, but I had my fair share. I was incredibly disappointed. I still gave this place 3 stars because at least I could still dine here if I want a burger, and they have great outdoor seating. Wilmington is still in need of more vegan options for dining. Bring back the vegan menu! Updated from previous review on 2021 01 24

When I arrived, I was told by the staff that they no longer have a vegan menu. The only option is a Beyond Burger. I like a good vegan burger here and there, but I had my fair share. I was incredibly disappointed. I gave this place another 3 stars, because at least I could dinate here if I want a burger, and they have great outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the new owners removed all vegan options from their menu. Such a shame as his beautiful restaurant

The George no longer offers a separate vegan menu as described in the two reviews from 2017. The tacos and tofu scramble mentioned in the previous reviews aren’t on the menu anymore. What they do offer is two Beyond Burger options (one salad one burger) and a third choice. There are also a few other menu options that can be made vegan. I got the salad which was good if you are a fake meat fan. On the plus side, the restaurant has a great location, free parking and really nice waterfront outdoor seating.

I have the salate that was good when you're a fake meat fan. on the plus side, the restaurant has a great location, free parking and really beautiful seating on the water.
