Fork 'N' Cork - Wilmington

From Indiana on vacation in Oak Island... The best restaurants in Wilmington and came across Fork n Cork. I love hamburgers and consider myself an amateur connoisseur. For my tasting, my burger was the best Hamburger I ever had. I think it was called the Kreiger. It was a peanut butter baconburger. Kellner gave me something Habanero-Jelly to go with me as I had read in another FB review and it added to the fantasies of the Burger. My wife also LOVED the burger with Speck Marmelade. Unbelievable! Not only the burgers were good, the frits were freshly cut potatoes. Close to my favorite fries of all time. And not least in the presentation were the fried pickles. They came as high as I've ever seen. They were good, but not my favorite, as they were a little too thin pickle and too much fried. I think I'm an expert on fried pimples but. Top 3 favorite restaurants in my life! The staff was unbelievable... 5-star service. This experience was an unexpected pleasure in our vacation... thanks to Fork n Cork!

It was super busy, but waiting was totally worth it. It was the best Mac n cheese I ever had and the Lamb Burger was delicious. We ate at the bar and the cook asked how everything was (through the window). We gave two thumbs and you could say that he was really happy that we liked it. We will definitely go back - can't wait!

Really enjoyed my pimento cheese burger with bacon jam. My wife had the Wellington bites and Scotch egg. The Wellington bites literally melted in your mouth. Lauren was our server and she was excellent. If I opened a restaurant in Wilmington I would steal her. ReLky customer friendly. We told her we were going to be on Carolina Beach the next day and she gave us three good recommendations for seafood.

My husband and I love this place! The Swiss burger is my favorite burger in town! Our only complaint is that it’s hard to get a table at this busy place so we don’t get to go as often as we’d like to.

Ate dinner Sat night and the service was excellent. Call ahead seating made the wait not too bad (75 mins). Time enough to walk around town and have a drink before dinner. The food was amazing and they are able to accommodate gluten free dairy free people like me. Will definitely go back again !!
