Brickhouse Coffee Kitchen

We stopped here to have coffee and were so glad we did! Such friendly staff (Amish run) and coffee was delicious! Such a clean, cozy place and beautiful atmosphere out in the middle of Amish country! An enjoyable experience! Wish I could have eaten here too!

Loved this little stop in the middle of Lancaster County. It is a cafe and on Fridays offers a select number of classic sandwiches and breakfast dishes for purchases. You can sit inside or outside in very much a coffeehouse aesthetic. This is Amish-run and I assume -owned and that means the service couldn't be friendlier. I had the chicken salad sandwich, a blackberry smoothie made from fresh blackberry syrup and a crumb cake to go. You order and , if staying, they will bring plates and drinks to you. I took one star off because they forgot parts of my order though it did not make a difference in the end. Still, the food was excellent, the prices affordable, and very reasonable. I can envision that this restaurant gets very busy on the weekend. Spots like this are few and far between and it seems to have a very strong local presence.Vegetarian options: There are certainly vegetarian options especially in the baked goods, eggs, and breakfast yogurt options. This this is not really a place where catering to restrictions or allergies could be fully accommodated

Everything was amazing! Their hospitality and their helpfulness was great. One thing that could maybe change is the noisiness of their milkshake maker. They have it in the front where the clerk can reach it and it is a little annoying to have to stop talking so that she can do her job...? especially if youre having a good conversation ...?

The best rye bread I've ever had! I know that sounds anticlimactic but it was different and oh so good with a little sweetness to it. The omelet and pancakes were really good and I will definitely go back for more.

Small menu, burger was a preformed frozen patty. Toppings were good. Pay attention because I was overcharged by $25 which I questioned. I do believe it was an honest mistake and it was fixed. It was good for a quick lunch, but we probably won't go back.
