Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The restaurant was very busy the day we went, so we expected our food to be a while. The waitress was really nice and brought out some biscuits and apple butter as an appetizer. The service was good, the food was not so good. We both ordered the glazed chicken with bacon. The chicken was burnt and the bacon was raw. The glaze was good. The sides of carrots and hash brown casserole were cold. I didn't look at the bill until we were paying it and noticed they charged us .50 each for 2 little soufle cups of apple butter. I asked the lady who was checking us out about it and wow, she was very very rude and said that it says it on the menu and it wasn't anything new. I said they never charged us before and she said so what. Now I was buying a jar of apple butter to take home. I guess they needed that 1.00 more than I did. Now I remember why it's been a long time since we've been to a Cracker Barrel. I don't think we'll be going back to the one in Willoughby Ohio again.

I hadn't been to a cracker barrel for many years. I ordered the chicken and dumplings carrots and corn bread. The portion of food served was hugh. I took the extra food carrots and corn bread home. My friend had the scrimp and beef tips. She didn't enjoy at all. The scrimp had a pepper coating. The beef tips were chewy. She was very disappointed. It was an expensive dinner that tasted nasty. The chicken and dumplings were a better choice It was a busy time and a 30 minute wait for a table.

What a cluster ! Of. Place, and does cracker barrel train managers to be rude nasty?. Order food wait almost an hour past time not that busy). Food ice cold, manager what do you expect during a busy time um if you can not put out a quality product then quit taking orders! So even thou half our food was missing what does she do ? Yep comp a dinner! Yea. I 'll go back for more nasty people terrible food.. no I 'll dispute the charge gift the comp 'd dinner to an enemy.. And the metal shaving baked in the biscuit that cut my wife 's lip, manager of the year could careless brushed it off like i put it there!!! Wow wow wow.. Wake up CRACKER Barrel Wake UP!!
