Jdubs - Williston

Had a couple drinks here and checked out the menu. There were good drink specials, but the $3 margarita tasted liked an over sweetened wine cooler. I watched baskets of fried food and burgers came past me and decided that I wanted something better for dinner and moved on. Two big rooms with individual bars. No separate dinning room.

I've never physically been to this place (I promise to rectify that real soon), but a guest of mine brought me a cheeseburger and fries back from here. ****! The fries. THE FRIES!!!! The cheeseburger was super tasty delicious, but did I mention ALL OF THE FRIES? J'Dubs. I'm coming to you my love, because I need more fries.

I'm going to give them 4 stars but 3.5 stars would be more appropriate. Since this was my first time here, there was absolutely nothing negative about my experience. The waitress was super friendly and attentive and did a really good job. It's a clean and comfortable restaurant with plenty of food options. I had the asada fries off the appetizer menu and it was a very large portion of food. They were just all right, nothing to write home about. I will go back and try more food.

Greeting, ordering, and serving always takes way too long. The waitresses never come back to see how the food is or I n.v you need anything not to mention they have always been kind of snotty. I ordered a salad with dressing on the side. Not only did my salad come drenched in a bottle of dressing, they then proceeded to charge me for a side of dressing. Idiots.

Hold on, I lived in Williston for almost 3 years, stopping in here several times a month and never wrote a review? Dang, I was really slacking. Alright people, it 's Williston, ND. The poor town is completely overrun and the standards of service have been completely lowered, it 's just the way it is. So yea, the staff here is not the best during dinner and as the night goes on, but take a look around and tell me that you 'd like to be serving a bunch of rowdy oilfield trash (I can say this because I 'm a member ??? Nope, that 's what I thought. Decent food, probably the best bang for you buck in town honestly. Loved the pizza, and wing night on Wednesdays was always a good deal. Good beer selection, at some point from 2010-2012, they got Shiner on tap and I was STOKED! Also, try the local stuff from Beaver Creek Brewery in Wibaux, MT. There 's a smoking section...which is also where the party is at, so if you want to party, don 't complain about the smoke, easy as. Like I said, lots of rowdy oilfield trash, so just be prepared. But that really shouldn 't be news to anyone in Willy town :
