Old Bake House Tavern - Williamstown

Very unfriendly greetings at the bar when the table service tells of what seemed to be the head waiter / bar person. other waiting staff were friendly enough. eating was mixed quality. the chicken carving was excellent, but the accompanying chips were terribly tasteless, over boiled and saw...re heated. the broken fish was 80% teig and 20% fish the only remaining taste was teig and oil. the bark cake $28) had 4 bit bark meat and one of them was mostly gristle; served on mushy heaps that did not inherit traditional muddy. for what we got, eating was roughly overpriced, although the chicken carving was at least a good price-performance ratio.) overpriced beverages cheapest glass of shiraz $9 and it was pretty averaged. the personal must feel much harder on the guests feel welcome and appreciated; with a throw away they enjoy the rest of their evening as the first friendly comment as they go out of the door is too late. would not recommend and won 't visit again, as it is significantly better in the opposite.

New owners have definitely improved the decor atmosphere of the old bakehouse, but eating is the actual improvement. everything I can say is amazing! I've eaten here a few times and work my way through the menu, the steaks are cooked. the perfection of the chic parmi is the best I ever had. craft beiere are now also on hahn, which is a big change from the usual cooper 's, west end or wb they find in all pubs.

I have visited this restaurant several times over the years and have never had a bad meal. It may be a small tavern, but the food is always delicious and satisfying. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, always happy to chat. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Although eating was nice and the staff was very friendly, I cannot come past the intense black walls that created a feeling of constant claustrophobia. the restaurant was so dark, although it was a beautiful day outside. I'm sorry, but it's really not very... inviting
